Growing In Faith. Living With Purpose. Sharing Our Testimony.

Our Faith Mission

At JAMS Media 215, we believe faith is more than a Sunday experience—it's a daily walk that shapes how we live, love, lead, and overcome life's challenges.

This community was created to be a safe place for people to learn, grow, ask questions, share testimonies, and encourage one another through God's Word.

We are not a church. We are not a denomination. We are not a replacement for personal Bible study.

We are a community of imperfect people pursuing a perfect God.

Through Bible discussions, weekly devotions, Christian living conversations, testimonies, marriage and parenting through a biblical lens, and current events viewed through Scripture, our goal is simple:

To help people become more comfortable sharing their faith, growing in their relationship with Christ, and becoming fishers of men.

We believe God still changes lives.

We believe testimonies still matter.

And we believe meaningful conversations can be enlightening and healing, raw and respectful, biblically sound and understanding.

Together, let's grow in faith, strengthen one another, and give God the glory for every chapter of the journey.

Where Do We Go from Here?

FEATURED DISCUSSION

Throughout this week's conversations, one theme continued to emerge: our culture desperately needs healing.

In a world where conflict often escalates and "hurt" people continue hurting people, how do we teach the next generation a different way?

As parents, mentors, and believers, we have an opportunity to teach our children that prayer is not a last resort—it's a first response.

When faced with conflict, confusion, fear, or uncertainty, we can encourage our children to seek God before seeking revenge, retaliation, or validation from others.

The Bible reminds us that peace is not something we stumble upon. It is something we intentionally pursue.

"Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." — Psalm 34:14

The good news is that God has not left us to figure this life out on our own. Scripture tells us that wisdom is available to anyone who asks.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." — James 1:5

This week, let's challenge ourselves and our families to pray first, seek peace intentionally, and trust God to provide the wisdom we need for every situation we face.

Weekly Devotion

Proverbs 16:7

FEATURED DEVOTION

"When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."

Reflection Question:

In what area of your life can you apply this Scripture today?

Is there a relationship, situation, fear, or uncertainty that you've been carrying on your own?

What may be preventing you from fully trusting God with it?

Sometimes the greatest obstacle isn't the situation itself—it's our reluctance to surrender it.

As you reflect on this verse, consider what it would look like to place that burden in God's hands and trust Him to guide your steps.

Prayer Prompt:

Lord, help me to walk in a way that pleases You. Give me the wisdom to trust You with the things I cannot control and the courage to surrender the things I've been holding onto. Lead me in Your peace and teach me to follow Your ways. Amen.

A Personal Reflection

Featured Testimony

This week, God revealed something important to me through a meaningful conversation with a friend.

For some time, I had been carrying discomfort and unresolved feelings connected to a former role model and, in some ways, my perception of men in general. While I had focused heavily on the actions and shortcomings of others, God gently began to reveal areas within my own heart that also needed attention.

One of those areas was people-pleasing.

I realized that my desire for acceptance, approval, and validation had influenced some of the hurt I experienced. While this realization does not excuse the actions of others, it helped me see that healing requires honesty—not only about what others have done, but also about the places where we may need God's work in our own lives.

As difficult as that truth was to face, it was also freeing.

God exposed something that needed to be brought into the light before true healing could begin.

This revelation did not instantly resolve every hurt or bridge every gap, but it did change how I pray. Instead of focusing solely on what someone else should do, I now find myself asking God for wisdom, guidance, forgiveness, and the strength to move toward restoration wherever possible.

Sometimes our wounds are deeper than we realize. Sometimes our own fears, insecurities, and unhealthy patterns can leave doors open for hurt. Recognizing that truth is not condemnation—it's an invitation to healing.

Today, I am grateful that God continues to reveal truth in love. I am learning that healing often begins with humility, and restoration often begins with surrender.

Why MY Faith Matters

Growing up in the slums of North Philadelphia with two drug-addicted parents, nine siblings, and no stability to speak of, the odds were already stacked against him before he ever had a chance to understand what the odds even meant. Then came the fire. The shelter. The mother who disappeared. The foster home that became a place of abuse and horror. The group homes. The running. And finally — at just fifteen years old — a decision so wrong, so devastating, that it landed him in a cell at sixteen years old with a sentence of fifteen to thirty years.

By every measure, his story was over before it started.

But God wasn't finished.

God was present in every chaotic, painful, seemingly God-forsaken moment, even when the man living those moments had no idea, He was there.
